Hiking, Biking, Geocaching and Trail Adventures - You Need A Handheld Sat Nav...
Handheld Satellite Navigation devices have come a long way, and got a lot cheaper over the last few years. Devices now have the functions to be trusty companions on the trail - whether hiking, biking or geocaching. They don't replace a map and compass - but are worthy additions in anyones backpack. The hard thing to do is to decide which type of hand held GPS you need - what functions will be usefull and which features are essential. Remember to always try before you buy, hang around the hiking forums to get the low-down on the best gear, and don't be afraid to ask questions.
