Hesitating About Getting A Radio Controlled Nitro Car or Truck - These Figures Will Convice You!!
These speeds and pictures are taken from the official HPI Europe page, and remember they are for well run-in and tuned vehicles in warm conditions - you might not be able to achieve similair results with you own machines - but this table will give you a good idea of their relative speeds.
When look at this type of speed comparison between Radio Controlled Nitro Cars & Trucks you have to realise that even the "slowest" models are capable of quite amazing acceleration and top speeds. In fact the faster models can be a hinderance and very difficult to control at top speed. Where you can run them can also be an issue - I have a rs4 3 evo touring car, and believe me, it is difficult to find anywhere that it is safe to get up to top speeds without worrying about smashing into a curb or hitting a pot-hole and damaging it.
Whichever model you go go you can be sure of having a very special machine and you'll become addicted to the hobby for life! You'll also find below my vid of me testing the speed of my Nitro Touring car, the Dodge Viper RS4, enjoy!

Savage 4.6ss Kit 4wd 1/8th Scale Monster Truck - now replaced by the Savage X ss, but still available in some shops. These unassembled kits are really for enthusiasts only, but when built up and running the performance is stunning. |

Nitro 3 Evo RTR 1/10th Scale Touring Car - Ready to Run - I've got two! Using the t-15 engine & a 2-speed box the 3 Evo can really shift as I can readily attest! The t15 isn't known for it's durability, so when the motor dies it's a good excuse to upgrade to the 18ss - and hit 50mph! |

Nitro 3 18ss Kit 4wd 1/10th Scale Touring Car - you've got to build it yourself and supply your own Radio Gear, but with the 18ss engine and two speed gear-box this baby can shift. (The 18ss engine is a popular upgrade for most HPI models originally supplied with the T-15 Engine).
Nitro MT2 18ss Kit 4wd 1/10th Scale Stadium Truck - comes supplied with the very fast 18ss engine (notice the theme with the fastest cars?) - again you have to build it yourself, but superb handling and a wicked engine make a very tempting off-road package indeed.
