Air-Fix Flight Deck in Action
If in the late '70s or easrly '80s you owned an Airfix flight deck, you'll agree with me that it was (and is) a fantastic toy.
Using a catapult, you fire a Royal Navy Phantom Jet off the Deck of an Aircraft Carrier, up a line, whereupon it turns around and heads back towards you. Using the joystick, you have to carefully aim your plane to land on the carrier and catch its tail-hook on the arrestor wire. Brilliant!
You can still get Flightdecks second-hand on ebay, and I recommend you get one while they're still around.
